Xiaomi is now rolling out February 2021 security patch update to Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. The phone was made exclusively for the Indian market that offers a good set of specifications at a decent price. Xiaomi has recently updated couple of Redmi, Xiaomi and Poco devices with the Android’s latest monthly security patch and now Redmi Note 9 Pro Max joins the party.
The update is based on Android 11 and comes with firmware version V220.127.116.11.QJXINXM. The update is rolling as an OTA and the full package weighs 2.5GB.
Update your Redmi/Xiaomi/POCO device with the latest update by navigating to Settings -> About phone -> System update. In case, no update is available, wait for few days. For those who can’t wait, we have added a download link for the latest package. You will need to install the package manually, which we don’t recommend. So, you may proceed at your own risk.
